We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Julia and Hans Rausing Trust for an amazing donation of £20,085 from their Charity Survival Fund. The donation will be spent on core costs, help towards the re-opening of our Day Centre as well as external tutors to lead workshops at our #DigitalDayCentre
The trust received over 2,500 applications from charities across the UK, who have been hit by a loss of income during the coronavirus crisis.
Julia and Hans Rausing commented: “We are extremely pleased to have received such a large number of applications from charities right across the UK and we look forward to responding to successful organisations in due course. The number of responses has really laid bare the need for charities to be supported during these very difficult times.
“We hope that the Charity Survival Fund will encourage others to help these organisations who are part of the social and cultural fabric of the UK, and whose work has been a vital lifeline for many during the pandemic.”
A total of 329 charities were selected to receive grants through the Charity Survival Fund which has provided £18 million to charities to support core costs over the second half of the year.
Thank you for helping us to improve life after brain injury.
