We have had to rapidly adapt our usual service model during the last six months to meet the needs of the brain injury survivors we support and launched Headway Leicester’s #DigitalDayCentre (DDC) on 1 June 2020. By purchasing a raffle ticket you will be helping us continue this valuable and vital service.
We envisage that we will be delivering many of our services digitally for the foreseeable future. We are currently delivering seven sessions a week to the 110 survivors we have continued to support since we closed our doors back in March.
The enrichment sessions include Sketching and Watercolour workshops with a midlands based artist, Coffee and Catch Up where members have been able to connect and engage with survivors who would normally attend our Outreach group plus weekly sessions with an Occupational Therapist as well as Wellbeing and Mindfulness workshops.
